关于臭鼬：

- 不会受到甜浆果丛的伤害
- 可以用胡萝卜进行繁殖
- 可以用甜浆果驯服，如果已经被驯服，则只会治疗
- 可以用甜浆果或者臭鼬指挥棒来诱惑
- 受到攻击时会惊慌并向攻击者喷射
- 小臭鼬会跟随父母
- 被驯服后会在20个方块之外跟随主人
- 在黑暗中眼睛会发光
- 可以放在肩膀上
- 放在肩膀上会吓跑其他生物，但对不死生物和其他被玩家驯服的生物无效
- 对主人的攻击者进行喷射
- 当进入水中、死亡或者按住Shift键+右键点击地面时会从肩膀上掉下来
- 地狱臭鼬会喷射火焰
- 暗之殿臭鼬会喷射毒药
- 如果臭鼬被命名为梦幻，则会获得梦幻皮肤
- 可以用剪刀在已被驯服的臭鼬身上去掉喷射能力
- 被驯服后可以用臭鼬指挥棒改变其行为（使用甜浆果和木棍制作）
- 如果处于跟随模式，会跟随主人
- 如果处于徘徊模式，会四处游荡
- 如果处于休息模式，会坐下

臭鼬有10种变种：

- 带罩（森林）
- 有条纹（森林）
- 香草味（森林）
- 白化（雪地针叶林）
- 铜色（用9个铜块和1个海洋之心制作，它们不喷射，但受到袭击后不会惊慌）
- 鬼魂
- 末地
- 虚空之末（末地）
- 地狱（地狱）
- 暗之殿（诡异森林和绯红森林）

当命名为梦幻时将获得梦幻皮肤

铜色和虚空之末可以攻击并使用剑类武器

也可以为臭鼬装备皮革、铁、金和钻石盔甲
