所有这些生物都会在军团之夜生成（每晚有30%的几率），以玩家的罪恶值最高者为目标，其中一些罪行包括：睡觉、交易或死亡。在军团之夜瞄准的玩家的罪恶值还会用于根据你的罪行数量来变化生成的实体数量（罪恶值越高=军团越困难）。

随着你在游戏中的冒险，每次军团都会变得更大更难，但是通过向死神祈祷，你可以延迟甚至停止它。在他的坟墓里，通过献祭他的血肉（记得周围点燃蜡烛）、在祭坛上放置野生种子（如果你献祭足够的东西，它就会生效），并给地底升起的手一个金块（右键点击名为“underworldhand”的实体，并手持金块），以换取他的怜悯。祈祷也是获得钻石的必要条件，因为现在钻石矿石会掉落钻石碎片。
