This mod is tailored for the Forge version of the Origins mod and is compatible with the Strictly Medieval Modpack 1.16.5 and Strictly Medieval 1.18.2. Its also integrated with the MageTech Modpack 1.18.2.
LATEST UPDATE NEWS:
The recent update includes changes to Knight and Paladin spawns, now equipped with a Book and a damaged sword. The pmmo hook remains in the mod. Note that the Pirate origin is no longer supported in 1.16.5 and was removed from versions 1.18 and 1.19 due to exploits.
Paladin
The Paladin origin offers unique abilities:
- Protection From the Undead: Ignite undead enemies upon hit.
- Durendal: A new power sword.
- Book: Provides information on sword repair.
- Skilled: Holding Durendal grants a damage boost.
- Better Built at a Price: Enhanced abilities come with extra exhaustion and a larger appetite.
- Weakness: Undead deal increased damage.
- Holy Life: Killing grants Holy water, providing healing.
Knight
The Knight origin comes with:
- Skofnung: Spawn with the new Modded Sword Skofnung.
- Knightly Skilled: Boosted overall attack damage.
- Damage Boost: Holding Skofnung grants an extra damage boost.
- Slowness: Move slower.
- Book: Information on sword repair.
- Bowless: Unable to use bows/crossbows.
Bird Of Prey
This origin offers various powers:
- Aerial Combatant: Increased damage during elytra flight.
- Featherweight
- Tailwind: Slightly faster movement on foot.
- Winged: Can fly using flapping and gliding.
It also comes with specific weaknesses:
- Need For Mobility: No heavy armor allowed.
- Carnivore: Only consumes meat.
- Wet Wings: Dislikes water, unable to swim.
