This mod makes it rain forever, without getting rid of storms or altering the vanilla weather mechanics. If you like rain, this mod is for you.

The practical effects of permanent rain
This mod is also useful in skyblock-like worlds or worlds with limited water. Rain speeds up the growth of crops, can be collected in cauldrons, allows you to till soil everywhere and have it be saturated, and it can add cozy ambience to your world, making a skyblock-like experience easier to handle without overcomplicating things, especially if you have disabled infinite water sources in your world. It also lets you take full advantage of a trident at all times/
Rain has some negative side effects too, such as allowing mobs to spawn and making your world darker, which can add challenge and create pressure to light up your world.
Permanent rain works best with other mods to enhance the experience and assist in justifying it. You can also install mods which visually disable rain on the client so that you can gain all of the benefits of rain without having to deal with its presence if you find it annoying.
What\'s next
Currently there are no configuration options, however I intend to add some options to disable or force storms, as well as some other stuff. I would also like to add an on-by-default option to force rain to be visually enabled on the client even if the server does not have rain, as currently this mod is only server-side, however I suspect it will result in odd lighting and haven\'t investigated it.
I also plan to implement some sort of different rain beacon blocks that you can craft to enable permanent rain or storms (or suppress these) while the chunk its in is loaded, allowing you to make it a toggleable and configurable feature in-game.
This would allow you to create modded structures with interesting ambience like big castles that create permanent storms. You could also use this to tell when chunks are potentially loaded/unloaded by other players in a balanced way.
Recommendations
With this mod I recommend a rain-altering resource pack like [Rainy Day](链接) or [Realistic Rain](链接). Mods like [Sound Physics Remastered](链接) and [Immersive Thunder](链接) are also great touches that will improve the ambience of your rain. There are also a variety of mods that have nice interactions, benefits, or behavioural changes with rain.
