入门指南
要开始使用这个模组，首先你需要制作“雪人建造机”。这个方块用来组装你的雪人。

雪人建造机只能在寒冷的生物群系中使用（通常是有雪的生物群系）。在高海拔地区它也无法工作（即使那里有雪），因为生物群系并不够寒冷。如果你把这个方块放在它无法工作的生物群系中，会在 GUI 顶部显示相应的文字。然而，你可以在其他气候中使用建造机，详情请参见下面关于“永不融化冰”的部分。
右键点击这个方块后，会打开相应的 GUI。一开始可能看起来有些复杂，但它的布局就像一个雪人的身体和脸一样。大槽位是用来放三块雪，上面的槽位是雪人的脸。右边的槽位用来放武器，底角的槽位是输出槽。
每个雪人都需要三块雪、一根胡萝卜（可以是金色的或者普通的），和一些煤。按住 Shift 键点击物品则可以自动放入正确的槽位。顶部的槽位用来放头盔，它能接受任何头盔，尽管不同的头盔之间不会有任何区别。
武器槽位可接受四种类型的武器：鸡蛋、雪球、弓箭或任意类型的剑。你所选择的武器将决定雪人用什么攻击怪物。如果你选择剑，雪人每次攻击会造成正常的伤害。
当你填满所有槽位后，会在输出槽中生成一个“冻结的雪人”。你可能会注意到上面有一个红点，它表示制作进度。要推进制作过程，你需要用实际的雪球投掷八次到雪人建造机上（请记住，在投掷雪球时你可能需要潜行，以免在投掷雪球时意外打开 GUI）。音效提示会帮助你确定制作进程是否完成（或者你可以看制作进度条）。然后你可以从输出槽中取出冻结的雪人。这件物品的工具提示中会显示所有关于你的雪人的信息。请注意，只有当你选择了剑作为武器时，伤害值才会显示一个大于 0 的数值。而且请注意，一旦雪人被建造完成后就无法再对它进行修改。

一旦你有了你的冻结雪人，你可以右键点击它放置在地上。雪人伙伴不会跟随你（它们不像狗那样忠诚），但你可以通过杀死它或者按下 Shift+右键点击它来捡起它。
然而，雪人伙伴在战斗中可以证明是一个不错的补充。每当它靠近一个怪物时，它会尝试用你在雪人建造机中给它的武器攻击敌人。请注意，由于它们力量较弱，它们的瞄准技能……并不那么好。
