Origins: Vampire 将2个起源引入了游戏中：
-吸血鬼 (Vampire)
-吸血鬼领主 (Vampire Lord)
当选择起源时，只有吸血鬼起源是可选的。你需要喝掉末影龙的血才能成为吸血鬼领主，但这并不是一件轻松的事。
（在v2.0.0之前）你需要获得成就 “[解放末地](链接)” 才能从吸血鬼进化为吸血鬼领主。
吸血鬼 (Vampire)
不死身：
吸血鬼是吸取生者血液以满足自己口渴的不死生物。他们的不死状态使他们免疫毒素和冻结伤害，但对火焰和阳光较弱。他们也不需要呼吸来维持生命。
邪恶：
他们对木制工具很弱，因此被木制工具击中会让他们短暂失去行动能力。
饮食：
作为吸血鬼，他们的饮食仅限于血液。他们可以直接吸血或者将血装瓶后稍后饮用。当他们口渴得到满足时，吸血鬼比人类更强壮和更快，并且能在黑暗中看得更清楚。
治愈：
吸血鬼愈合得更快，但这会让他们很快口渴。他们对火焰和阳光的弱点会阻止他们在受到影响时愈合。
蝙蝠形态：
吸血鬼可以变成蝙蝠，以便悄悄移动并防止阳光的影响。另一方面，这种形态更加脆弱，而且没有手，无法使用工具。
吸血鬼领主 (Vampire Lord)
他们继承了他们之前形态的特征，并额外拥有以下能力：
有翼：
吸血鬼领主有足以在飞行时推动自己的翅膀。
猎人直觉：
他们获得了探测周围生者并知道它们是否对他们敌意的能力。
